Commissions FAQ

How much is a commissioned painting?

Prices vary based on size and subject but prices are higher compared to the paintings you will see in my originals section since this piece will be created uniquely and specifically for you and your beautiful vision. How long do commissioned paintings take to be completed?

My timelines rely completely on how big of a project it is and what the subject is. But generally, if its a piece bigger than 8 x 10, about 4-6 weeks. 

What kind of artwork can I ask for?

For commissions, I offer landscapes, small animals, and of course-portraits/figure work. 

Do you require a deposit before beginning the project?

Yes, I require the standard non-refundable deposit of 50% down before painting. After the painting is finished and has been reviewed by you in person/virtually, I will send an invoice for the leftover 50%. 

What is communication like during the commission process?

I will meet with you before the painting starts, to go over your vision, I will contact you again when I'm about 50% done to check for changes, and then again right before finishing. Of course, you can ask for updates at anytime.
