Little Friend

This is a portrait of my son. I wanted to capture his little hands and feet. I used yellow to bring exuberance and childlike joy to the painting. I loved capturing his small smile. By painting this, I am preserving my memories of his baby stage.

This painting was done in Summer 2023. Oils on 8 x 10 inch canvas panel board.

Boy with Big Eyes

This is a portrait of my son. I wanted to emphasize his big beautiful eyes that everyone comments on. I am so glad I have this piece to remember him at this age. A boy full of light and joy.

This painting was done in Summer of 2023 with oils on 8x 10 canvas panel board.

Her and Her Kitty

This is a portrait of my daughter. I wanted to emphasize her smile and the happiness she exudes. This kitty plushie is her favorite toy and it happened to be mine when I was a child. I love being able to preserve such precious years in a piece of art.

This painting was done in Summer of 2023. It was painted with oils on a 8 x 10 inch canvas panel board.

Dressed for a Ball

This is a portrait of my daughter. When she was 1 month old, I dressed her up for a reward ceremony for my husband. I snapped a quick photo and years later, I painted it. I love having a way to remember her as a precious infant. Our little princess.

This painting was done in Fall 2023. It was painted with oils on a 10 inch round stretched canvas.

Holding Her, Holding Me

This is a painting of my mother holding my daughter, her first granddaughter. As she loves on my babies, she is also showing love to me as a new mother. I gifted her this painting and made a large print for my own home.

This painting was done in Winter 2024 with oils on a 12 x 16 ABS board on cradled wood.
