With each bold, impressionistic brushstroke, this piece brings serenity and curiosity to any space. The touches of green in the water, the pink strokes in the underpainting, a the indigo mountains. I painted this piece after being blessed with my fourth baby. After a few months of nonstop mommying, I was itching to paint. Painting this landscape was freeing, letting my inner child play with color and space. I created this piece to be an oasis for the viewer to escape to, as they take a breath and have a moment to themselves.
